To The Seventeenth Century, And Are Ideal For Those Tryng To Maintain
The Historical Charm Of An Old Inglenook.
Installed By Simply Leaning The Fireback Against Rear Of Fireplace.
Some Firebacks Are Still Hand Moulded And Cast In Much The Same Way As They Have Been For Generations.
Apart From Aesthetic Value, Firebacks Prevent Scorching Of The Rear Brickwork And Will Help To Radiate Heat.
A Point Worth Remembering When Installing A Gas Log Or Coal Effect Fire
Is That They Are Equally Effective With This Type Of
